DONTE STARKS DISMISSED FROM LSU FOOTBALL TEAM

BATON ROUGE – Linebacker Donte Starks has been dismissed from the LSU football team for violation of team rules, head coach Ed Orgeron announced on Friday.

Starks saw action in three games in 2019 as a true freshman for the Tigers.
Starks was suspended from the team indefinitely back in February after he was arrested on January 31 for illegally possessing a concealed handgun in Jefferson Parish.

Starks, a freshman linebacker from Marrero, Louisiana, played in three games this past season, mostly on special teams, and did not record a tackle.

Really disappointing. Kid had real talent. Sad to see him piss it away

Real talent is recording some real tackles. He had no stats in the games he played. That's zero talent.

He’s talented. I hope whatever happened wasn’t too bad and he get his life back on track.

Hate to say it but not surprised. Starks was supposedly a handful to handle at Ehret... and that's really saying something.

Agree 100% arcalades. Of course, do we have any rights now since there is a cold out there you might get?

Completely different kids. I know a coach at John Ehret, always said Stark would be a problem. Says Kaine is completely different, team player.
