LSU linebacker Devin White was named the Chuck Bednarik Award National Player of the Week on Tuesday for his dominant performance vs. Auburn. Per LSUSports.net:

White, one of many underclassmen playing key roles for the Tigers, led a gritty comeback performance by LSU on Saturday against Auburn with a career-best 15 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, one sack and a quarterback hurry. White registered his fifth straight game with double-digit tackles as the Tigers rallied from a 20-0 first half deficit to knock off 10th-ranked Auburn, 27-23.
Through seven games, White leads the SEC in both tackles (77) and tackles per game (11.0). He ranks third nationally in total tackles.
