LSU Lands Commitment From Virginia LB Transfer West Weeks

Virginia freshman linebacker West Weeks from Watkinsville, Ga announced Saturday night that he is transferring to LSU. Per The Advocate:

Weeks made 31 tackles as a freshman last season. He originally signed with Virginia as a three-star recruit out of Oconee County High School in Georgia, the same school former LSU quarterback Max Johnson went to.

LSU has now added eight transfers, six of them coming in the past week. Teams could replace up to seven transfers during this cycle in addition to the 25-player signing class, so LSU will only be able to sign 24 incoming freshmen.

Yep. 5-Star recruits like Eli Ricks and Arik Gilbert sure as Hell haven’t worked out while 3-Stars like Justin Jefferson have. It isn’t all about star rankings. Stars do matter to a point but when they are a cancer in the locker room and are quitters they are worthless. LSU needs players who want to be here and if that is a 3, 4, or 5 star player then fine but Orgeron was doing a little much star chasing.

Not nearly close, Brian kelly and staff are a far cry away from their limit of 32 new freshman and transfers. With weeks the total adds to 21, got 11 more to go. Don't worry about limits, you enjoy the ride and let the coaches worry about what they gotta do. Ps. Here is a tip. Football coaches do this for a living : )))
