These guys like Heard and Brown and so many others are looking for a $payday$. They can compete with the other players, but LSU is at a real disadvantage when it comes to NIL. Our collective and legislature have them way behind most other top tier programs. Even yho Heard is a NELA kid, he thought he was worth more than the LSU collective was willing or able to pay. That's why BK is really concentrating on guys at other schools with LA ties that aren't just lookingto get paid. It gives them a personal incentive to stay in state close to family. If you can't offer the competitive money, you pull on the heart strings. I hate losing them. Brown and Heard are very very good, and will likely light it up wherever they land.

I wish some of these guys would just fess up, put it out there. I'm looking for $500k...I'm looking for $1M and just do like OBJ and other free agents do...start the negotiations. Then we can really be appalled at this shitcrap and start making the NCAA decision makers & politicians very uncomfortable.

One of fastest WR in high school ball last year. Would have made an impact at LSU if he had some patience. But this is the new world of NIL and transfer. Don’t be surprised when he is a star.

Would any freshman expect to play much when you have Nabers, BTJ, Lacy, etc. With the top 2 WR's going to the draft, wouldn't he expect to get a lot of PT next year? Especially with a pocket passer. Maybe I don't know the depth at this position but this seems like a dumb move. I guess money and guaranteed PT at Miami talks.

Grass is always greener at this age lol. Until there is a limit on transferring this will continue to happen.

If you didn’t catch a pass in this offense, that’s a YOU problem.

I expected this. LSU keeps stacking WRs, especially speed guys. Kid looked at zero catches as a freshman, the fact that many WRs are still ahead of him in the pecking order, and some Florida teams are likely offering big bucks for him to go back home. Don't hate him for it, and one of the most understandable. Will likely be at Miami or FSU and could be a starter.

Zero catches as a freshman is as good a reason as any.

Ridiculous to leave as a freshman. You are starting over right when you would get playing time.

If we were to lose a WR, this was the most likely one.
