I don't see why some of you whine about something that every single team in the FBS does. Everyone schedules a couple of games against inferior competition. EVERYONE. The team needs the breaks.

So there's actually another team out there that calls themselves the Aggies? And I thought Auburn was bad, with their identity crisis!

There are several: Utah State, New Mexico State, A&M, etc..

I would rather play Utah instead of a school I've never heard of

You've never heard of Utah State? That was a pretty scrappy team about 3-5 years ago, pulled off a few upsets. If I recall, they came within 30 seconds of beating Auburn. And either did beat Baylor (or barely lost to them).

So USU gets $1.5M. Nicholls gets $575k. Interesting.

Only thing I can think of is that Utah State has to charter a flight and stay in a hotel. Nicholls just has to hop on a bus.

That's an expensive arse charter flight

USU is an FBS opponent. Nichols is not. FBS opponents are higher demand. A win over Nichols means absolutely nothing.

Lindsay Scott Jr. will break the LSU all-time passing record during this game. BOOK IT

Lol. There's roughly 31 games (including a bowl games) before we play that one. So Lindsay will have to beat out Etling and throw for 285 yds a game for the next 3 years to break it vs Utah State. I'll go ahead and bet you my life savings that Scott doesn't do that.

If he just starts after Etling leaves he'll need to average 480 a game. He's not gonna do that. BOOK IT
