Former LSU head coach Les Miles joined the Paul Finebaum show on Wednesday to talk about Saturday's showdown between the Tigers and the Crimson Tide.

Miles is predicting that LSU will pull off the upset over No. 1 Alabama. Per SDS:

In an appearance on Wednesday’s “The Paul Finebaum Show,” Miles officially predicted the No. 3 Tigers to finally end their seven-game losing streak to the Crimson Tide.

“The secondary wins against Alabama,” Miles said. “I think they’ll have to run the ball to beat LSU, and I don’t think that’s going to happen. I think the linebacker corps and the line match up well with Alabama. If you can’t throw it and you can’t run it, the QB will have to run it. That’s where an injury would be most telling.”

Les called out the personnel like he's staying very close to the program, or something. It's clear Les still has affection for this team....It's a great thing, IMHO. And "F-Baum" is a total jerk for abruptly cutting him off, at the end. That was a little too obvious.

A little extra twist on a QB ankle tackle wouldn't be the worst thing in the world...

Unfortunately our run tackling has been pretty bad. And with Devin White out, it will only be worse. Look at the UF game as the only game we lost. The run stop was terrible. That said, I am still all GEAUX TIGERS with a fresh and motivated Devin White in the 2nd half!

UGA had a good looking run their first series too. Da boyz shut that down.

@GoldenGuy. Yes, we shut the run down the second half but only because UGA stopped running Holyfield.
