Do you have a problem with people going to central/South America? How about Vietnam? How about Hawaii? Hell, how about anywhere in Europe/North America?

Antarctica is about the only destination on earth that wasn't built on murder, genocide, and/or pillage.

Furthermore, I doubt very seriously that Les made the trip so he could pay money to Castro. Tourism provides an influx of cash into an impoverished country. Even if the wealthy get the immediate benefits, there is trickle down to local merchants. If your tenuous grasp on capitalism can't help you to understand that, you shouldn't be using words like "communist".
