It's too hot... It's too cold... It's too rainy... It's too much traffic... I'm losing my buzz.... I'm hungry... I'm sleepy... The offense stinks... Wah wah wah... There's never enough excuses. Keep em coming.

All of those things are very true though... We left because it was humid AF and our buzz had worn off to the point where we were noticing the humidity. Went to the Varsity to finish the game. Regained buzz. Win.

I wish all some of those folks would sell me there tickets.

If season tickets actually went to fans instead of corporate sales douchebags who give them to people that DGF about LSU.

Very true in many circumstances.

I'm a 3rd quarter leaver from 04-12. *clears throat* frick you if your team is that emotionally shallow to be affected by me beating traffic.

This is what happens when tailgating has evolved to a point where football is no longer the reason for going to a game in the first place.

I honestly feel bad for the players.

too many idiots had sausage to stuff in their fat faces while sucking down PBR's at the tailgates

I wish I had some sausage and PBR's to stuff in my face right now

I'm sure you'd like a big, hot sausage in your face right now Buckeye. However, please keep your personal preferences to yourself.

I don't disagree with Les. Should be there for the team.

Just keep track of the number of folks that leave, then open the stadium up to whoever at the half.

right, cause there was a line to get in

I'm all for this. As long as they get searched and have to follow the same rules as ticket holders. Move your meat, lose your seat.
user avatar
Mike da Tigah91 months
There would be a line if they knew that was the rule. One leave, another gets to take their place. I'll take some sideline seats FTW.

LSU fans can't make it through a 3.5 hour game, but they can tailgate for 8 hours.

I got puked on by some fat, drunk bitch behind me in the bleachers. I hope Les and the team understand.

Haha and I was one of the four strapping young lads that she puked on.

I leave after the pre-game band salute and before the kickoff. Only problem is running through the people trying to get to their seats. Once I'm back to my car I rarely encounter much traffic on the way home. I bet I beat all of you to the bathroom.

We came in from NC for our yearly home game. We stayed til the end as always. Please remember how great we have it. It was awesome as usual.

It's easy to stay once a year for the whole game, get off your soap box

Yeah people that leave shouldn't go back!! Stay for the team gee respect your team people. I mean it is MS but still need to stay for our Tigers these guys love that!! It does make a difference you leave like the game is over that spills into the team also. It shouldn't but it just does. STAY for our Tigers. I never leave

The LSU admin and the PC crowd have taken just about all of the fun and tradition away from the game. The band isn't allowed to play any of the traditional pump up the crowd songs in fear that someone, somewhere may be offended. Bring back NECK and get rid of the pumped in thug rap at every break and more people may stay and enjoy the game longer.

Maybe when the team plays a complete game fans will stay for a complete game. It doesn't seem like the fans are the only ones that leave at halftime.

The amount of adults (oh which likely most don't goto games at all) complaining about the behavior of other adults attendance on here is just completely absurd.
user avatar
Start serving beer in the stadium until the 4th quarter. Bet that'll help.

When I was going to LSU, I was one of the guys that painted up with my dorm mates and stayed until the end of the game sun or rain!

Part of the problem is some of our miserable fans aren't there to support the players through thick and thin. It's like some people go hoping they fail just so they can boo Les and hope he gets fired at half time. Most fans know, regardless of what team you're playing, they can make a comeback with a half left to play, especially in a conference game. We all know traffic will be a problem regardless. Just stay there and support the team and make it home at 1am. It's part of our gameday experience :). Oh, and to all the people trying to dismiss crowds making a difference. Well, that's just dumb, seeing as how we usually brag about opponents fearing to play here because of our crowd.

The atmosphere has changed. I really don't need to listen to rap music every second. It's like going to an NBA game.
