Latest Fox Sports' Bowl Predictions Has LSU Playing Texas

Fox Sports released updated Bowl Predictions this week and have LSU playing against the Texas Longhorns in the Texas Bowl.

Texas Bowl: LSU vs. Texas
Date: Dec. 28 -- Houston
Bowl affiliation: SEC Nos. 3-8 vs. Big 12 No. 4

Not sure if the Texas Bowl would want LSU two years in a row as the Tigers beat Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl 56-27 last bowl season.

LSU is currently 5-3, (3-2 SEC) with games at Arkansas, vs. Florida, and at Texas A&M remaining on the schedule.

If it's true I hope Miles is hired before bowl game so he can try to run against LSU's great defense cause we all know he not going to pass to win.

What a lame Bowl. But I guess that's just where we are nowadays. Avenge 2002 Cotton Bowl, I guess. Yippee.

Enough of Herman already. If he can't beat Navy or SMU, he's not ready for the SEC.

Navy finished 11-2 last year, Herman beat them 52-31, and also beat SMU 49-28. Oh he also beat Jimbo 38-24, Stoops 33-23, and Petrino 34-31 with middle of the pack AAC talent. I think I remember Ed O could only muster 10 wins in 3 years at Ole Miss. Also, revisit Jimbo's first 2 years as FSU's HC, and the teams he lost to.

Well if you're looking for a coach who's never lost a game against an inferior opponent then LSU won't have a coach. Saban lost to Dinardo.

We will be in a better bowl than this. We will likely be #3 in the SEC behind Bama and Auburn. Bama to playoff, Auburn to Sugar, LSU to Citrus. Tennessee might end with the best record in the East with 3 losses. Florida will almost definitely have 5 loses.
