If you didn't hear the news earlier this week, Alabama's Nick Saban hired former USC head coach Steve Sarkisian to be analyst on the staff.

Well Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt has a theory as to why Saban hired Sarkisian and it involves LSU.

Klatt thinks that Saban hired because Sarkisian because "he knew LSU was going to struggle offensively and he didn't want them to have a an offensive coordinator on the market to hire right away for this season."

This is just Saban's way of using leverage to keep Kiffin away from his daughter.

Actually it now looks like Cam and Miles just aren't good at building confidence in a nervous qb. When Etling came in the offense looked fine. Imagine a smart qb with confidence and the arm like Harris but can make the short throws also?? Would be pretty good offense with the right stuff. Why miles chose a DT qb is beyond me? I've been saying for years is all you need is a guy that moves in the pocket and can get 3 or 4 yards when it's covered up. You really don't need 30 lol crazy sob

Um, no Klatt. Saban hired Sark to be his OC next season when Kiffin takes a head coaching job somewhere else. Can you believe they pay these guys to say crap like that?

I wish I had a job where I made a bunch of money to make shite up. He got pretty creative with this one. As an LSU fan, I would definitely frick with Bama and A&M the most.

Cowturd and his cronies are a bunch of clowns. Let's say Les was capable of change to that degree...what is Sark going to do? Install a new offense on 3 days? What a moron.

Id take a Sark offense over Camerons any day. Too bad it would never happen though.

If LSU wanted Sark this season, LSU would get Sark. Although, it's not the best idea to bring an alcoholic to Louisiana

If Miles replaces Cam, then who would he bbq with? Besides perverto, nobody else would bbq with miles and whisper lies to him on the sidelines.

That's bs, LSU doesn't make obvious moves. They won't fire anyone that should be fired. If anything, they will give Cam Cameron an extension

how does this keep LSU from hiring him as OC?
user avatar

Even if so, do you think becoming an offensive analyst would keep him from wanting to be an OC at LSU? Dumb theory is dumb.

If true, then thanks Nicky.

Kiffin is leaving Alabama this year. He just hired his next OC.

This seems like the simplest and most obvious answer.

Yeah because LSU, a campus located in a town known for its alcohol consumption and good times, was gonna hire the recovering alcoholic.

You can buy and drink alcohol anywhere that won't stop an alcoholic. Saban is just prepping Sark to fill Lane Kiffin's spot when Kiffin takes over the Tigers next year.

I believe Saban would.
