Joe Burrow Was Asked About Teaming Up With Ja'Marr Chase Again

During a recent In Q & A session with Fanatics, Joe Burrow was asked about a possible reunion with former LSU teammate Ja'Marr Chase.

Together, both Burrow and Chase connected on 84 receptions for 1780 yards and 20 touchdowns during LSU's 2019-2020 Championship run.

There is a chance Chase could be available when the Bengals pick at No. 5 in the upcoming NFL Draft, and Burrow said he'd love to reunite with the former Biletnikoff award winner. Per CincyJungle.com:

“I’d love to play with Ja’Marr,” Burrow said. “He’s a great player and we’re still in contact all the time, we talk every now and then. He’s a great dude and a great player. I’d love to have him on the team.”

Great receivers will not help if the line can’t block long enough for Burrow to release the ball. Bengals need to add two top notch linemen.

Adding Chase to the weapons Burrow already has would be a lot of fun for sure, but it would be in the best interest of Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals to use the fifth pick on Penei Sewell if he's available, Rashawn Slater is if he isn't.

Its very simple. You trade away AJ Green and some scrub on defense for some draft picks, then you select Chase and then get nothing but O-Line the rest of the way
