LSU (7-0, 3-0 SEC) is currently No. 2 in the AP Top 25, No. 3 in the Coaches Poll and in the hunt for a spot in the College Football Playoff.

The first playoff rankings will come out in two weeks on Tuesday, Nov. 5 but if we were still using the old BCS Rankings, the Tigers would be No. 1 just ahead of Ohio State and then Alabama and Clemson.

Hope we stay #2 going into Tuscaloosa. More motivation for our guys and less locker room material for Bama

Personally I think it should be 50% committee like we have now, the other 50% is the BCS as it was, possibly more influence from the computers rather than the polls (especially the coaches, those dudes are not paying attention).

It's just for fun. Unless you were fooled and thought it is real. Then that's on you.

Why would an info site dedicated to College Sports post polls that are rated to College Sports? Just silly huh?

Why not use the BCS to determine the top 4 CFP?

because it's 2/3 human polls, which are a disgrace. Give me a somber, serious committee, much like the March Madness committee, any day over silly media polls.
