LSU freshman defensive end DaShawn Womack is expected to be a significant force on the Tigers' defensive line but is also getting reps at the JACK linebacker position in practice.

The former five-star prospect from Baltimore, Md., was rated the No. 3 edge rusher in the country last year.

Wow. That would be a nice move. Dude would be a huge OLB. Him, Smith, Wingo and Perkins rushing the passer. Sick.

I hope Brian Kelly requires all DL's & OL's to wear knee braces on both knees. It's a smart thing to do.

It’s been a thing since he’s gotten here and I also agree with it 100%. Very smart imo.

If players like Womack can play to their talent level, this will be a special team.

I hope to see Womack at the Jack and Wiggens at DE this season. Especially on obvious passing downs.
