ESPN College Football analysis Kirk Herbstreit revealed his top 4 teams after the completion of week 7 and LSU remains included in the mix.

Last week, Herbstreit had LSU as His No. 3 team, but moved the Tigers down to No. 4.

Herbstreit had Alabama take over the No. 3 spot after beating Texas A&M 41-23 on Saturday.

Same old crap...The tigers will win at T-town if they don't give it away...Then bama will be one of the best 2-loss teams in the country..and probably get in the final four...lol

"Bama lost to ole miss 43-37 with 5 fricking turnovers"

So? Are you saying the loss doesn't matter Bc the losing team was sloppy? Turnovers often lead to losses yet with Bama it's a"fluke" while every other team would be punished for --get this--turning the ball over and losing! Besides, Ole Miss also dropped two easy INTs late in the game, both would've ended scoring drives and one would've been a pick-6, so let's not pretend Bama got no breaks. Score easily could've been worse.

"Exactly! Why does anyone care what any talking-head thinks?? I give them all zero attention.
Just let the season play out and the committee will do its job. We can make it easy for them by winning the West and the SECCG.
Ignore the pundits - they're all a waste of energy (and they don't know any more than you do)"

LOL. You don't care what people think, but you are reading the comments on here and taking the time to talk about giving zero attention to the talking heads. I'm guessing that you don't understand the concept of zero attention.

Bama lost to ole miss 43-37 with 5 fricking turnovers. I think LSU will beat them, but Bama is a damn good team.

It is disrespectful to LSU but Saban and bama have proved it on the field many times. After LSU wins a couple championships and beats them in consecutive games I suppose we will get the same god like treatment but until then they will doubt LSU. Just the way it is right now. I'll tell y'all this if LSU stops W Kentucky's pass offense this week bama is in big big big trouble because that means LSU fixed the secondary issues. I think LSU is gonna stop the run first and when they abandon the run put pressure on their QB to throw accurate short to medium passes by taking the long ball away and he won't be able to execute. I mean come on people this Dline goes up against LF everyday? If that's not a perfect game like practice for Henry then idk what is. Stop Henry and bama goes down. Can't have TOs and can't make stupid mistakes. Tigers win in Tuscaloosa 38-20!

LSU in top 4, no Bama:

"I've always liked Kirk. He actually knows what he's doing."

Bama ranked over LSU:

"Kirk is a douche and no one cares what that hack thinks."

Bama looks better right now. So what. It will play out on the field.

If we are meant to get to the playoff we will. If not, then congrats to the team that takes that opportunity away from us.

@pianoman. TAM had a ton of turnovers against Bama, but TAM sure as heck wasn't "rewarded" for a pretty loss against a highly ranked team. LSU had the better win this weekend. There is no logical reason to elevate a one loss Bama team above LSU until the prove they are better on the field. This smells like clickbait.

Unfortunately, when Bama lost, they had a ton of turnovers. Ole Miss was playing better then, Bama is playing better now. Hope the Tigers can beat them at their place, but I won't hold my breath after losing 4 out of the last 5 to them. Saban always has them ready to play LSU.

I won't judge this just yet, but will be LIVID if we do beat Alabama and are not consensus #1 due to them already being above us. That will tell the true story, you win, you get respect.

It doesn't matter bc LSU is going in dry!! This is our year... Bama looks shaky and looks like a team that will fall apart when they hit a wall. LSU is just getting started confidence is building and will be sky high for bama. Let them talk up bama and watch all of them be bug eyed when LSU stomps them at home. If OM whipped them imagine what LF and BH is going to do? They are too confident and I will be thinking like the rest of the nation. Stop LF and LSU has nothing but they couldn't be more wrong! Can't wait to see the defeat on everyone's face.

Doesn't matter. We play them. His poll selections and opinions mean nothing. We keep winning and we will be fine.

[Sack up and beat us and give us our 2nd less. If not, watch as we ascend, again.]

Bama is the only team that seems to need 2 losses to be discredited. It just reeks of inconsistency in the voting that a they are given a mulligan, knowing that any other team with 1-loss wouldn't be near the top 4.

LSU's inferiority complex is shining through in a lot of these responses. 2011 has shaken them so badly it's now comical. Sack up and beat us and give us our 2nd less. If not, watch as we ascend, again.

Its because bama has destroyed 2 teams that were suppose to be good. They made UGA and aTm their bitch.

They're setting the table for both SEC teams, LSU and bama, so that the winner of that game has already been mentioned. SB Nation also gives bama a lot of love this week. Keep in mind, the SEC Network is a multi-billion dollar investment for ESPN/ABC
