I'm fully prepared for the down votes here because I'm agreeing with O, but this is spot-on. There's a difference in those two mindsets. We need the guys who want to take down the bully, not join the bully.

With the talent on campus we aren’t a rebuilding job We will be when he is done

Fack off you prick. If you want to down the coach then go ahead, but the talent on campus, or lack thereof, isn't the issue.

Yes. It is 2 different mind sets. But Coach O is a double speaking bullshiteer. You were recruiting Surtain Jr and wanted him and even told Goodrich (who want to be an LSU Tiger) No . Coach O you are a hypocrite and a lier.

In cajun terms...he'd rather have kids that want to build a boat than take the ferry. Speak to a type of character that relishes a challenge than looks for the "easy" path

Last year o said he was ready to win championships immediately

Pretty weak spin job Ed

If you think it about it, what Ed says is utterly ridiculous. Each team that wins a championship actually *builds* a championship team -- when they win it. The Alabama team in 2009 did not join a championship team without building it first. You can say the same about each subsequent Alabama championship team. It's obvious that Alabama was not going to win the 2017 championship without some freshmen who just joined the team. I think this is why normal people don't win in life. They think all they have to do is somehow plug into something that guarantees a win. And it never works like that. Trust me, when Ed starts to win with what he is able to get for the moment, he will be able to build on it, just like Saban has and just like Kirby is doing *now*. I hope this is just spin on his part because if this is his mindset, no wonder he's never won big anywhere as a head coach.

On this particular thread, the more downvotes I get, the more I know I'm right LMFAO!

You aren’t building any championships by leaving 2 schollies on the board. They punish schools by taking schollies away, Ed O does that shite for fun.

What? Do you know how dumb you sound? We will be able to sign 2 more players next class. It's not like we can't use them and they're lost forever. We can also use them for a transfer if there are any available after spring practice, when a lot of players choose to transfer to find a new or better opportunity at another program. Chill out.
12 days
No shite they aren’t lost forever. You’re dumb for thinking having two more players next class will help with depth next season though, or putting all of your hopes on a transfer is better than a sure thing a couple of months before. But considering your handle I don’t doubt you’d let something like accountability get in the way of your sunshine pumping.
12 days
And that’s not even counting all of the players leaving early and transferring elsewhere. You can’t afford to put your hopes on a “maybe” when you have this much turnover. But keep on pumping that sunshine.

So, he wanted Surtain until Surtain decided to go elsewhere? Just shut the frick up, O.
Reply12 days
Wait, what? Isnt that blatantly obvious that we wanted a top end recruit until they said they didnt want to be here? Why would we want a player to be here if they didnt want to be here? That is a cancer just waiting to take over your locker room.

why don't you go and tell him that ! don't think you have the balls.

So what happens when/if LSU becomes a champion???

He’d have been better off with a simple “no commen”.

Why?? The Surtains fricked him over, and then they call at the last minute to say so, that's just no class all the way around. You been strongly committed to LSU for 2 years and then you pull this, it's weak as hell and anyone would be mad enough to wanna say something about it. I would have expected this from the other kid that was a 5 star CB at Heritage (I think his name is Campbell), but that kid said frick you to Bama and went to Georgia, he's got more spunk than Surtain Jr, and personally speaking I think he's the better CB too. Lol
12 days
I wouldn’t say “strongly committed.” He was never a commit, just said we were the favorite, and we were going into the Bama visit apparently. Saban does what Saban does best

So who does he recruit IF he were to ever win a championship? Smh.
