LSU head coach Ed Orgeron joined "Off The Bench" on Baton Rouge ESPN radio Thursday and had this comment about recruiting and the type of players he wants on his team.

If you think it about it, what Ed says is utterly ridiculous. Each team that wins a championship actually *builds* a championship team -- when they win it. The Alabama team in 2009 did not join a championship team without building it first. You can say the same about each subsequent Alabama championship team. It's obvious that Alabama was not going to win the 2017 championship without some freshmen who just joined the team. I think this is why normal people don't win in life. They think all they have to do is somehow plug into something that guarantees a win. And it never works like that. Trust me, when Ed starts to win with what he is able to get for the moment, he will be able to build on it, just like Saban has and just like Kirby is doing *now*. I hope this is just spin on his part because if this is his mindset, no wonder he's never won big anywhere as a head coach.

What? Do you know how dumb you sound? We will be able to sign 2 more players next class. It's not like we can't use them and they're lost forever. We can also use them for a transfer if there are any available after spring practice, when a lot of players choose to transfer to find a new or better opportunity at another program. Chill out.

You’re dumb for thinking having two more players next class will help with depth next season though, or putting all of your hopes on a transfer is better than a sure thing a couple of months before. But considering your handle I don’t doubt you’d let something like accountability get in the way of your sunshine pumping.

Why?? The Surtains fricked him over, and then they call at the last minute to say so, that's just no class all the way around. You been strongly committed to LSU for 2 years and then you pull this, it's weak as hell and anyone would be mad enough to wanna say something about it. I would have expected this from the other kid that was a 5 star CB at Heritage (I think his name is Campbell), but that kid said frick you to Bama and went to Georgia, he's got more spunk than Surtain Jr, and personally speaking I think he's the better CB too. Lol
