I like coach O, always have since o first met him while he was at Ole Miss. Nice and genuine guy. I became troubled the moment he said he never interviewed Bo Pelini. LSU is a quality program and should be treated as such by every coach, player, fan, etc. When you start getting away from that for whatever reason, you begin to send the program into a nosedive. I don’t like Alabama, but they are a quality program and I can think of only two coaches who have treated bama like a quality program- Bryant and Saban. When O was hired I said he would treat the program like it deserved and I was wrong. Success has gone to his head and I don’t think he can recover what he’s lost. Whether it’s during the season or after, it’s time to move on and hire someone who will treat LSU like a precious treasure.

When you are paid $8.9 million to coach, results are expected and kind of demanded. Too much money for that show!

Coach O made his bed when he hired two coordinators who have never called plays before... I do not care who you know, or what coaching tree you come from, no coach should be taking their first stab at calling plays in the SEC. Period. They may go on to be incredible play callers for someone else, but let them learn and work out the kinks elsewhere... aint nobody got time for that at LSU. And before you forget, Brady was the passing game coordinator, he had Ensminger to reel him in when necessary.

At Least he knows the LSU standards on Winning. HE could and will be responsible for the worst two Seasons in a row at LSU in over 20 years. Hope he remembers that win the buyout is discussed. Nobody to blame but himself. It also looks like the players are losing faith in the staff he assembled.

O looked like an arse getting all "tough" with Doucet. I've never seen a coach succeed at turning a majority of the fan base against him in such short order. O really is a dumbass

IF he truly understood he would resign immediately but the narcissism is stronger than the understanding.

Some of the cons make good points. But let's not forget Coach O's assests; excellent recruiter, excellent motivator, relates to the players, hard working and bleeds purple and gold. If LSU changes regimes, what does the win/loss record look like the next 2-3 years? Perennial mediocre programs seems to make coaching changes every 4 years, or so. Take a moment to think how the Ole Miss fans processed the 2019 season. I would have loved to have played for Coach O regardless how this season plays out.

The man brought LSU a Championship and possibly College Football's greatest team ever.

Coaches should be allowed a couple of bad seasons here and there if they have delivered conference and National titles in the past few years. This perfection standard is ridiculous.

Some of the LSU fans that want to fire O are stupid A-HOLES! They are parroting the radio and tv talking heads. Too many injuries and cry baby transfers!
