Under no interpretation of the targeting rule was it targeting - as an official myself, you can clearly see at several different angles that no contact was made by White with the head or neck of the QB and there was no helmet to helmet contact - in real time, I do not fault the white hat for throwing the flag but the confirmation was simply incompetent and it really makes you wonder if something else is going on within the SEC - no doubt

I thought it a little odd how quickly the two officials starting waving to the sideline to get some medical help in there. The dude was standing on his feet telling the ref "no" the way I saw it. Strange to say the least.

Strangest thing about the whole thing - a suspicious person might think they were building a case for the targeting. The guy didn't get hit in the head - he got knocked down. It's football. It wasn't even an all that late of a hit.

This could end up backfiring on these refs and the gumps. I see this group rallying around their leader and this adversity, and coming out playing even harder. Playing a great first half without him, and then un-caging a refreshed and extra motivated White to come in and be the difference maker in the second half, which is when we'll need him most!
