LSU star linebacker Devin White has announced that he will forgo his senior season to enter the 2019 NFL Draft. White went public with his decision on Monday morning with the following video:

White, a native of Springhill, LA, was the winner of the 2018 Butkus Award which is given annually to the top linebackers in college football. He finished the season with 123 tackles (62 solo tackles), three sacks, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

White is expected to be an early selection in the first round of the NFL Draft and likely to first linebacker to be picked on Day 1.

do you think that video just magically popped up this morning after Devin decided? That thing took a while to create - Devin gave LSU his decision at least a couple days ago, if not earlier.

atl - the guys that are staying got pretty good videos within a few hours of making their decisions... This is why LSU athletic department has a media department. I am sure they had two videos all but made up of highlights and clips, they just had to add the narrative (which was about 1 min of him sitting in the locker room and walking out onto the field).

Good luck! All class! I'm not a big fan of players leaving early except when they are going to go in the first round. You did it right. Would love to see you stay, but to me, you did the right thing.
