Following Florida's loss at Texas A&M on Saturday, Gators head coach Dan Mullen said he wants the Swamp to be packed when they play LSU this upcoming weekend.

Mullen said that Texas A&M's crowd was a major factor in the loss and hopes they can have a full stadium since Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently lifted COVID-19 restrictions. Per ESPN:

Mullen said he "absolutely" wants to have a full crowd of about 90,000 fans when Florida hosts LSU next Saturday.

"I know our governor passed that rule, so certainly, hopefully, the university administration decides to let us pack The Swamp for LSU next week," he said. "One hundred percent because that crowd was a major factor in the game. So I certainly hope our university administration follows the governor."

He added, "We have 90,000 in The Swamp to give us that home-field advantage that Texas A&M had today."

When asked if he would allow a full house for LSU, Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin told ESPN, "We continue to follow UF Health and campus safety guidelines."
Will it happen?

If he wants the stadium packed, he better start handing out tickets in the visitor section with every fill up at the local gas station.

Let them all in. We need the practice with a full stadium for 2021. This season is already wrecked.

Battle of bad defenses. Here come the downovotes. We make a big defensive play late and win 44 to 38.

SEC needs to manage spectator policy across the league for fairness and health considerations.

Y’all are getting the Karen thing twisted. Asking people to follow CDC recommendations during a pandemic is not being a Karen, it’s being a responsible citizen.

UF won't need that many people in the stands to beat LSU. Our defense will do it for them

There was like 25,000 people at Kyle field. What is he talking about.

There was more than that. It looked like 50-60% was there

Nah it was like when UGA played Auburn. Don't know how so many extra people are getting in/being let in, but they are for these big matchups.

He wants as many fans as possible to witness in person the Florida slaughter of LSU. They will run for 200+ and throw for 600+. We can’t even stop bad teams and you think Mullen is scared? That’s just dumb.

We should tell the SEC that we would not feel safe playing in an environment like that due to covid... Just to screw with Florida

Well why not 50,000 if UF can’t have 90,000. Someone has to go first to show it can be done. For the only time in my life I say “Go Gators”.....get this done and BTW...Geaux Tigahs!
