During a recent interview with USA Today Sports, LSU coach Lane Kiffin said that Ole Miss would have made it to the National Championship last season if he was allowed to stay with the Rebels for the playoff run.

Kiffin claims that having former defensive coordinator Pete Golding back in the booth calling the defense, as he did all season, would have helped the Rebels get past Miami, but he doesn't know whether they would have been able to take down Indiana.
quote:

“If anyone wants to argue that theory, that if everything is kept intact, we’re not in the national championship, what are you going to argue?” Kiffin said.

Kiffin’s logic: If he’s coaching, Golding would’ve called the defense from the booth, instead of calling it from the sideline.

“He knows he calls it way better up (in the booth),” Kiffin said, “especially when you've been up there all year, you know?”

“(If) Pete Golding is in the press box calling the defense, that team is in the national championship,” Kiffin said. “I don’t know what happens against Indiana, because the quarterback, (Fernando Mendoza), is so good.

“We might win it, but we’re definitely in it. We ain’t losing to Miami.”

He needs to start telling these journalists that he's moved on. This Ole Miss talk every day is getting tiring. They can talk about it during the Ole Miss game week, as that can't be avoided.

I do agree with him, or at least they would have won another game in the playoffs. However, him still discussing ole miss is just stirring the pot, this is what Lesticles used to do….talk shite and then get his arse whipped,

He's the one that keeps answer Ole Miss questions, and making statements like that...so it's his own fault.
I do believe he is absolutely correct though

He was allowed to coach. He just chose to coach LSU instead. Such a retarded take from a autistic cockehead.
