Watch: Lane Kiffin Points Out Stadium Music Issue During LSU's Loss To Ole Miss

During Wednesday's SEC Coaches Teleconference, LSU head coach Lane Kiffin made a subtle comment about the stadium music playing while the Tigers were on offense during Saturday's loss to Ole Miss.

SEC rules require stadium music to stop once the center touches the ball, but Kiffin appeared to suggest that wasn't always the case in Oxford.

Kiffin made the comments when asked about some of Sam Leavitt's struggles during the loss.

I was there and in 1st quarter Ian’s first 3 drives it was bad. It was loud bc of the music. It was making me mad because it’s pretty mucch cheating.

I don't agree with music, but this was the cost of Lane moving to LSU. I always knew this game would be the cost. Suck it up. We have the better coaches, players, and team. Watch as we demolish A&M Saturday. However, if the SEC trys to continue with selective punishment, then yeah, LSU may have to do something, like leave. But, something tells me that was it.

I agree totally with you about cheating and never said I like it. It is not just about a man taking another job. But, hey let's hear what you would do... at the end of the day, LSU may have to leave the SEC. That would be great news. We finally can start a new conference where all teams will be equally supported. The Big South with LSU, Notre Dame, Auburn, Florida, Florida St., Miami, Miss St., Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and 1 more SEC team.

I sat with ole Miss fans/family and continually pointed out the loud piped in music. They all all acknowledged the difference between when we had the ball vs when we had the ball. Very obvious!
