A popular question that was asked at Brian Kelly's introductory press conference on Wednesday was if he was planning on bringing some of his assistant coaches from Notre Dame and if he would retain any current LSU coaches.

One reporter even specifically asked about LSU defensive back coach and recruiting coordinator Corey Raymond and running back coach Kevin Faulk.

Kelly said that he has not spoken to either Raymond or Faulk yet so he has not made those decisions yet.

I know Kevin Faulk is an all time great but I don't see his appeal as a coach. Maybe a recruiting advantage but the on field product this year actually improved after his departure due to his unfortunate incident.

You think the improvement in the running game was because of his absence? You’re kidding?

Who knows. Faulk has only been RB coach one full season and that season wasn't great. Need a bit more data to decide if he is a good RB coach. It is pretty hard to tell whether he is a good RB coach or not.
