Had the same thing plus a broken tibia. I was healed faster than that. He's lucky this is all it was. So are we!

What a great player and person obviously due to the entire bench coming over for support. I’ve never seen that before. LSU needs more people like this in its program. Geaux tigers always and happy new year tiger nation.

Did you watch the play? It was inadvertent. Weeks fell back on his own ankle at the goal line.

You pretty much have to fracture something to dislocate the ankle

I went sideways heard my ankle pop 2 time s going down and coming back straight. Limped a few days put my boots on and it took a year without doctor treatment to be normal again.

I’m amazed you can dislocate an ankle with no ligament damage. I’m happy it’s not as bad as I thought

What is a dislocated ankle?

In order for the ankle joint to dislocate, all ligaments on one side must rupture. This most regularly happens on the outside of the ankle, where there are three ligaments. One or two of these are commonly injured during an ankle sprain. A dislocated ankle can be a posterior, anterior or superior dislocation.

By definition there is significant ligament rupture.

I’ve never heard of a dislocated ankle ending anyone’s career, even a RB.

Man, I’ve dislocated shoulders and fingers. The recovery has been quite different with each. Hoping for a quick recovery.
