LSU (4-4, 2-3 SEC) will travel to Tuscaloosa this weekend to face No. 3 Alabama (7-1, 4-1 SEC). Kickoff from Bryant-Denny Stadium is set for 6pm CT on ESPN.

Alabama is a 28.5-point favorite, according to the Caesars Sportsbook. The over/under is 65.

I'm trying to recall a time, at least since post 2000 or so, that we've been this outmanned. I guess anything is possible, and tAggy/Jimbo did take down the midget earlier this year. But, with all of our injuries, transfers, zombie coaches, and not having enough guys to field the annual bye week Tiger Bowl, it feels like Saturday is gonna be painful.

Humiliating, but considering the current state of the program and all the injuries, it's probably fair. I'm optimistic these young players will make a game of it out of sheer pride and talent. Better days ahead.
