Per LSUSports.net: NEW ORLEANS -- Led by Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Joe Burrow's six-touchdown performance, Ed Orgeron's top-ranked Fighting Tigers of LSU earned the title 2019 National Champions and arguably The Best Team Ever.

LSU (15-0) proved its dominant season by ending Clemson's 29-game winning streak in a 42-25 victory over the defending champs.

CHAMPIONS!Greatest college team I have ever seen. Greatest college QB season ever. Tigahs beat 5 of the AP's final top 8. In those 5 games, Burreaux: 1,991 yds; 26 TD (24 passing) ZERO TO's. The greatest Big Game QB of all time!!! Ohio State and Oregon were lucky they didn't have to get embarrassed by the Tigahs.
