Four-star cornerback Ga'Quincy McKinstry revealed his top three schools on Monday morning which were LSU, Alabama, and Auburn.

McKinstry, a dual-sport athlete from Pinson, AL is rated the No. 1 cornerback in the country and also plays wide receivers for his Pinson Valley High School team. He helped his high school win state championships in both football and basketball over the last two seasons.


Just two hours after including LSU in his top three, McKinstry was back out on the practice field sporting some purple gold gloves:

Depending in the Recruiting Service there is only 30ish 5* Recruits per class/season. Its never based in position. U may have 6-7 5* DEs or LBs & NO 5* CBs or DLs.

Not saying that it's the case here but just because you are the best in a certain class doesn't mean you are 5 star. It just means you're the best to be had.

Also the rating system includes your GPA. It’s difficult to get 5 stars if you are not a B+ student or better.
