Elive five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson has reportedly narrowed his list of top schools down to two: LSU and Nebraska.

Hudson, a 6-7, 239-pound prospect from Ruston, La, is rated the No. 1 tight end in the country and the No. 18 overall player for the class of 2027, according to 247Sports.

Hudson originally received his offer from LSU in 2023, heading into his freshman season. The offer was given out by JR Belton, who at the time was LSU's Director of Recruiting. Belton was just recently promoted to Assistant General Manager by Lane Kiffin in January.

Hudson also excels on the basketball court and holds an offer from LSU men's basketball coach Will Wade. Hudson's father, Antonio Hudson, played for LSU basketball under former coach John Brady from 2002 to 2005.

LSU and Nebraska, along with Texas A&M, Miami, USC, and Missouri, were Hudson's top six schools a month ago. Now, he's zeroing in on the Tigers and the Cornhuskers and will be taking official visits to both schools in June.

Nebraska rarely throws to a TE so that would be a huge waste.

5 star tight end ; LSU / Nebraska ; where’s Arik Gilbert at these days? That dude has to hold an NCAA record for most bad decisions made by a player.

Be a Tiger….where your friends and family can watch you play from the stadium every game! Most Nebraska games aren’t even televised down here…

He's a legacy. We have to take him.

Is he trying to play basketball too?? This was the first picture I saw of him on a football field. Nebraska has an "on the rise" program in both sports. .maybe that's why its down to these two? Maybe both will let him explore both sports

Nebraska? Lol. This poor kid doesn’t have a working brain if he’s considering going to their boneyard over LSU.

He’s not ‘living in Louisiana’ for the rest of his life, dimwit, it’s only for 2-3 years at LSU- which will be 100x better for his career than fricking Nebraska.
