Five-star Georgia running back signee Zachary Evans is not expected to end up with the Bulldogs, according to 247Sports.

Evans made plans to announce his school commitment twice during his recruitment but canceled both announcements and signed with Georgia during the early signing period in December.
quote:

Evans told reporters at the Under Armour All-American Game that he signed with a college team during the Early Signing Period. That program was Georgia. However, Evans did not announce his college decision as previously scheduled during the all-star game. Evans said postgame he “can’t answer” questions about his college decision, per 247Sports’ Brian Dohn.

247Sports reached out to Evans and his family for comment but did not receive a response prior to publication.

Evans signed an NLI during the Early Signing Period. But that does not necessarily bind him to Georgia. The Bulldogs are expected to grant Evans an unconditional release. That will allow Evans to explore other options. Other schools are prohibited from contacting Evans while he’s bound by an NLI, per NCAA regulations.
Evans, who visited LSU in October, could be in the mix for the Tigers once he is released from his National Letter of Intent with Georgia. Texas A&M is also a potential landing spot for the talented running back.

All the talent in the world means nothing if you do not have the right mentality. Good Luck to the kid and hopefully this shocks him back in reality.

Never know. He may come to LSU and prove to be a Wonder addition. He obviously has wheels and vision. Good luck Evans!

Do not want him. It will be a wasted scholarship when he transfers because he didn’t start his freshman year.

Remember when we lost Dylan Moses but ended up with Devin White?

Um, those were two different recruiting seasons...?

Yes different years but devin knew of dylan’s commitment and decommitment and dylan knew of devin’s commitment..

Devin was all LSU from the get go. Nick Saban said to his face “alright then we’re just going to have to beat you every year.”

Too much drama, his high school career makes him appear uncoachable, prima dona type that isn't worth the baggage. I mean who gets sent home before the state championship game over a cell phone. I would ask if he sees the error of his ways.

No, thanks. He will probably fit in nicely at FSU or Miami.

Why call a child/young man a bastard?

Maybe because there's a really good chance he is literally a bastard.

There’s a difference between being an indecisive 18 year old and being an a-hole 18 year old.

Future Antonio Brown...first cell phone violations and being a drama queen during recruiting...next...jerking off on his personal trainer’s back.

This is the guy who got sent home from the Texas 6A state championship because he didn’t want to conform to the team’s phone curfew rule. They won without him.

Kid sounds like he’ll eventually end up at Last Chance U. Probably doing UGA a favor here.

He may be seeing that GA makes a lot of noise but has not achieved much in terms of a Natty. If he is that good, he will not be there 4 years. 18 and who knows whose advice he is following.
