Since we're name dropping Opelousas, I was involved in a car wreck there. Two people killed. I was 10 and NOT driving - 75 now. So there's that.

A local athlete from a town & school & area that rarely has such high caliber athletes. Ford from Opelousas High is currently being recruited at a high level. But you have to go back to the 80’s for others like Chris Carrier( Eunice )& Karl Dunbar(Plaisiance)

Robert Hammond was a big time recruit that went to Notre Dame and there was another player from Opelousas that chose Notre Dame that slips my mind.

Chu was a monster at Westminster! He originally played for Beau Chene. My cousin Chris Edwards was they're running back. I've known him since then and are still friends to this day. I grew up with Devery Henderson (BooBoo), but I don't see him as much anymore.

Your mom is old too. Give her a break and let her stop supporting you this late in her life.
