Four-star JUCO wide receiver Stephen Guidry from Morganza, LA announced that he has committed to LSU. He is the No. 1 JUCO receiver in the country for 2017.

Guidry went public with his decision Friday night, choosing the Tigers over Mississippi State and Arizona State.

Guidry originally committed to LSU in May but backed off his verbal pledge in October. The LSU coaching staff re-offered him on Thursday.

The 6-4, 190-pound receiver graduated from Pointe Coupee Central High School in 2014 and enrolled at Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS. He has played at Hinds for the past two seasons.

Great pickup. This eases the Jazz loss. With Guidry, along with Netherby (forgive me if its spelled wrong), Sullivan and Chark, we looking pretty good at the WR position.

I was a little cynical a few days ago about Orgeron but I must say, I am really impressed with his hiring of Canada. All the pieces are starting to fall into place now that we have an OC. Hopefully we can bring in Akers or Marvin Wilson to cap off another solid recruiting class at LSU! Hold dat Tiger!

This is how I feel. His OC hire has given me major hope pairing with Aranda. LSU should be able to get three great years out of this group.
