Jacoby Stevens, the No. 1 athlete prospect for 2017, released his top seven schools on Monday in order and has Georgia at the top followed by LSU at No. 2

The 6-2, 193-pound prospect from Murfreesboro, TN (Oakland HS) was originally committed to LSU but reopened his recruitment back in November.

Aren't they all athletes? Is he a WR, CB or safety? Or not good enough at any of those positions so he's an athlete? Not speaking about him specifically, but ranking the position of "athlete".

I could be wrong but I think "athlete" means they have raw physical ability and enough intelligence to be molded into a position of need.

High School recruits are just ridiculous, like they are all that. Its getting out of hand with their way inflated egos from being a good football player in High School. Who gives a *&^( really what these 16 yr old's top schools are, really? I just wish the media would quit giving this crap a platform. As far as I'm concerned if you get offered by LSU and love LSU you come to LSU, go flush your list of schools (oh look at me) in toilet. please

Let them have their time in the lime light. I don't see this guy making a big deal compared to others. And believe or not, these recruits do have an interest in looking at their offers and not just jump in on an LSU (or other big name University) offer. Your attitude will scare away recruits so chill out and let's all of us hope we get the best recruits not just in physical but also in moral and intellectual ability.
