Now that five-star quarterback Quinn Ewers has reclassified from 2022 to 2021 to enroll immediately at Ohio State, LSU quarterback commit Walker Howard has become the No. 1 quarterback for 2022.

The 6-1, 195-pound pro-style passer from Lafayette, La (St. Thomas More), committed to the Tigers in June of 2020, picking LSU over Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and many others.

Howard is the son of former LSU quarterback Jamie Howard who played for the Tigers from 1992-1995.

Once the people doing the ratings realize that there is an LSU commit ranked #1 and above ALA, things will change. It was OK to be #2 and above Bama, but this is unacceptable.

Hard to get ahead in this conference. There are three 5 star QBs on that list, all going to SEC west schools.

His dad would have been really good, with ths right coaching. And there were a few games during his four years as a Tiger he showed his promise.
