Four-star cornerback Jaylen Bell announced Friday that he has de-committed from LSU.

Bell, a 5-11, 160-pound prospect from Loganville, Ga. (Grayson High School), committed to LSU back in November of 2022.

His departure leaves LSU with nine verbal commitments for the class of 2025.

Too many jackasses in the world today. This commitment was from nearly 3 years ago. The kid wasn’t good enough for our coaching staff, he didn’t even start at his high school last year.

Pretty sure god doesn't care where kids commit/de-commit to

Honest question: Do you feel this way for players that decommit then commit to LSU?

Apparently the kid didn’t even start for his school last season. The staff made the move, not the kid. You dudes always look for the worst and bring out the same.

All these kids pray a lot

No they don't. They SAY they pray. I don't believe one prays on it. How many adults do you know pray on changing jobs? I might ask the Almighty to GET a job...but if I'm changing one..that's my decision. Same thing with these kids. I don't mind when they change their minds...they are kids after all...but the whole "I prayed on it" routine is old

Politicians too. Most say they decided to run for office after “prayerful consideration” or some such BS.

Why does everyone feel the need to spew so much hate towards these kids? They’re kids people! It’s very likely that LSU told him that they were going in a different direction, so the kid probably didn’t have much choice. God does care about everyone and everything we do, including which school he plays for. I understand that most of y'all are young and hopefully just having fun with these comments but damn bro. You can still mess around in a joking manner and not be so darn hateful. It’s super ugly for a fanbase to talk like this about 15-16 year old kids. We all know the type of DB Cory Raymond likes and he doesn’t fit that mold. That’s probably all there is to it.
