LSU's hot streak on the recruiting trail continued on Monday as the Tigers landed a commitment from three-star offensive guard Joseph Cryer from Natchitoches, La.

Cryer was previously committed to Ole Miss but received his offer from LSU last week and de-committed from the Rebels yesterday.

The 6-4, 300-pounder is LSU's second offensive line commit in the last 24 hours as he joins offensive tackle Ory Williams who gave his verbal pledge to the Tigers on Sunday.

LSU now has 22 verbal commitments for 2024 with the addition of Cryer and four offensive linemen in the class.

I had that football when I was a kid. Brings back memories. The "laces" peeled off.

Must’ve felt his name was just too on the nose for Ole Miss.

Well he didn’t have an offer from LSU at the time. Maybe he didn’t think he would be receiving one.

Could this be a relative of former Tiger Charles Cryer?

Somebody buy his dad a beer for a job well done. When a La recruit goes to another school, it means his parents failed to indoctrinate him into a Tiger. Put an LSU football in the crib bc you never know who will grow up to win us a championship.

And sometimes it means an offer wasn't received from LSU.
