Silas Hall, a class of 2025 long snapper from Episcopal in Baton Rouge, announced his commitment to LSU on Wednesday evening.

His announcement came out just before reports surfaced that special teams coordinator Slade Nagle might be departing the staff for the OC job at Houston.

Either way, he's headed down the road to play for the Tigers.

I didn't take this as sarcasm; a good long snapper *is* a very important piece of the puzzle.

Looks like a truly committed young man who really wants to play for the Tigers. I like it.
