Four-star safety Bryan Allen Jr. announced Thursday that he has de-committed from LSU's 2022 class and is reopening his recruitment.

The Aledo, Texas native originally committed to the Tigers back in April over Texas A&M, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, USC, and many other schools.

His departure leaves the Tigers with seven verbal commits for the class of 2022.

For more info on Allen Jr., visit his profile page on our 2022 Recruiting Tracker.

Delusional is living in a vacuum and not understanding how well read and how tech savvy today’s hard working young elite athletes are. Most of them are no less intelligent than everyone on the sports blog and they have put in the mental and physical work to become elite athletes, before the age of 18. Most of them are doing the work to get college degrees, later on, as well. Sorry, you are not aware of this. Speak to some of the recruits Quesadilla Superman. You’ll learn something.

It is becoming more clear that we have some anti-LSU trolls posting on these pro-LSU sites to sow discord and undermine Louisianians’ genuine demonstration of support for current players/coaches, former players, potential future players and their families. Obviously, this is to further their own cause.

I thought a lot of the freshman that had to play played like freshmen. The big benefit is many of the under classmen have game experience

Another Gump posts here? Still stinging from 2019? Don’t kid yourself about 2020 because it was a sham of a season. Even the silly arse championship. Lol.

Big ball is for big boys with big balls! If they look down, gather information and make an informed decision about what they want, it will eliminate their need to decommit! LSU is DBU! Big ballers, only!

I don’t know why anybody looks at this bull shite anymore. Until somebody shows up on campus and gets fitted for the pads, I don’t put any stock into a recruit being committed

It's worse than that now with the transfer rule and the COVID opt out deal. They can show up, and even play some games and then decide - nah, I'm out. College football is waning.... sadly.
