Four-star safety Derek Williams from New Iberia, La. announced his Top 8 recently and included LSU in the group.

His top schools are LSU, Clemson, Miami, Texas, Alabama, Michigan, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma.

Williams, a 6-2, 185-pound prospect from Westgate HS, is rated the No. 2 safety in the country and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2023, according to Rivals.
