The fact that the word decommit is even a thing is comical.

Nice! Opens up a slot for a 5 star

So what’s the deal? No chest or did someone “recommend” he look at other options?

I commend this your man. He will be a great asset for a team. The fact that we are limited to 25 slots means some folks may be put in a rough situation. Hate to see it happen to a local kid but wish him the best and as a 4 star he will certainly land on his feet.

LSU coaches told him to shop around; we is going to be replaced with a recruit the like better.

@Genestealer55 he's not wrong

Why am I sick? Simply acknowledging the fact that the young man didn’t flip flop on his commitment rather he was told there may not be room for him in this class.....and then wished him well.

Some people need to realize what’s actually going on before they comment and judge this young man. He was asked to look around by the coaching staff. Some of you guys are miserable pricks.

Have a feeling he was asked to look elsewhere, so I wish him well. Hopefully he lands somewhere we don't have it bite us in the arse

Auburn may be a good landing spot for him; SEC West rival and we can follow his development

It’s a glorious day in LSU football when you are turning down 4 star DTs.

@Genestealer55 yep. He was literally the 6th-best DL commit.

4 stars don't decommit from 10-0 teams voluntarily. Processed.

gatta make room for Jordan Burch. Nothing personal to the kid

But it's always personal when a kid choses to go elsewhere like Bama for instance.

I have a feeling he'll be signing with the Tigers come next year. If there is anything that Coach O can close the deal on, it's defensive line. That's his bread and butter.

We should thank the young man for his strong desire to be part of this team (he wanted in) and wish him the best with his college career. The difficult part of bigger program success...
