Was just about to say that. I appreciate these recruits so much more when they use proper English.

Well worded announcement regardless if he comes to LSU or not. Hope he does though.

The bias against dual threat some of you have is hilarious. Dual threat does not mean run first. If they were in high school today, Brett Favre and Steve Young would be dual threat. Get over Jordan Jefferson and the CLM philosophy already!

Any insiders know if we have a realistic shot at this guy?

Probably not. We've been trying to flip him from Penn State for months now and while a decommitment form PSU is a step in the right direction, it appears that Florida and Auburn are the front runners for his services as of right now.

I just hope LSU puts the best QB that we have on the roster on the field. Whoever gives us the best shot at winning. It doesn't matter whether LSU goes Dual Threat or Pro Style because Canada with tailor the offense to whatever QB is on the field. Personally, I think Brennan will be the best QB on the roster when he arrives on campus. Not a race issue. I'm black. I would like to see Scott on game day as well. I think that kid is special.

If Brennan adds some weight, he has more potential than any of them. If he can't, he'll be a bust. Good god, can you imagine having a pocket passer AND a dual threat available.

Definitely not one of those "run first" QBs. Dude has unreal patience in the pocket.

Jesus, his O-line is horrible. Some of those improve passes were foolish, but his line would be a hell of a lot better here.

Guess he didn't want to get played with in the shower

For all you "dual threat" fans out there I want to remind you that the reason the "dual threat" QBs seem to be successful in college at the present time is the fact that there are so few true QBs out there coming ftom high school. You boys sit back and watch Myles Brennan. A true QB is finally coming to LSU.

Lmao! Hold ur horses there. Let's see if he can compete against the big boys in pads before we crown King Brennan. Quick who was the last immobile Qb to beat Bama?

Stripes are you a moron? The best young QBs in the NFL right now are Winston, Mariota, Carr, and Dak. Winston, Mariota, and Dak were dual threats coming out of high school. Cam Newton, 2015 league MVP and went to the super bowl, dual threat. Russell Wilson, went to 2 super bowls, won one, dual threat. Andrew Luck ran for nearly 1000 yards in his 3 year career at Stanford averaging almost 6 yards per carry, 3 time pro bowler. Two of the three QBs that are being lauded as going in the top 10 next year are dual threat QBs. One of them, USC, sucked with a former 5 star pro style, but once he switched to the dual threat, he won 9 straight games and the Rose Bowl. Washington and Alabama had the only non dual threat QB of every playotf team the past 3 years. Omitting Bama, there hasn't been a pro style QB starting in the national championship game since Sam Bradford way back in 2008. Alabama hasn't lost to a pro style QB since 2007!!! The only times they have lost the past 8 years and the starting QB against them didn't have at least 107 carries that year, we're the times when the starting QB didn't play the full season (Jefferson 2011, Trevor Knight 2013, Cardele Jones 2014. An LSU fan wanting a pro style QB/offense over a dual threat is only doing it for personal reasons. There's no logic behind it anymore if you want to beat Bama and win the championship.
