Elite five-star cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. from Metairie, LA announced his top 3 schools on Monday afternoon and included LSU in the trio.

His top schools are LSU, Florida, and Texas.

The 6-0, 175-pound prospect from Dunham School was a one-time LSU verbal commit but reopened his recruitment last April. He is rated the No. 1 cornerback in the county and the No. 1 overall player from Louisiana for the class of 2019, according to Rivals.

First of all CB Derek Stingley is an LSU lock. Now who wrote this article? Derek Stingley goes to Dunham High which is in Baton Rouge not Metairie. And he is the 2nd rated CB in the country not #1 that spot belongs to CB Andrew Booth from Georgia. And as far as the #1 Louisiana prospect goes we all know that belongs to big boy DT Ishmael Sopsher from Amite. Stringley is 3rd rated Louisiana Prospect behind Sopsher and the #1 OG in the nation and LSU commit Kardell Thomas.

It said according to Rivals not 247! Rivals has him #1 CB #1 in LA. LINK

Go ahead, young buck. Play the game...bask in the attention, stir up the fan base from all three schools you selected as finalists and stroke your ego with a press conference to announce to the world your final choice. Must be good to know that you are wanted by so many for what you can do. Recruiting has turned into a 3 ring circus.

Dude, of all places, this is not the time or the place for negativity. What the hell is not to like about a 5-star Louisiana guy that says that he wants to play in Tiger Stadium on Saturday nights?....

If he comes to LSU, I would nickname him Stingy to go along with Greedy. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Pretty sure they would never see the field together since Greedy will probably leave for the draft after this upcoming season.

If LSU is recruiting him this heavy it means he will probably be a bust

Yeah. Because LSU recruits are only ever busts and we have no quality players in the NFL...

Am I the only one that laughed when seeing the artwork of him in all three jerseys? The self importance of teenage boys in recruiting is reaching ridiculous levels.

Do you know what teenage boys aren't usually? Humble. Do you know what freakishly talented, nationally praised teenage boys are never? Humble.

Bro, are you stupid. The average teen in general is self important and has been like that for years. This isn't something new, and isn't just in recruiting. It's the whole culture of youth.

If you were offered a job paying 30k at McDonald’s, 50k at sears or 80k at Exxon which one would you take? It’s the same for these kids. Can’t blame them for going to Bama

Saban must’ve lowballed him the first time around. I’m sure he’ll be back with a higher bid next time.

I'm sure Bama will end up in his recruiting mix on the last day.
