Four-star 2017 LSU quarterback target Lowell Narcisse announced Tuesday that he has decommitted from Auburn.

Narcisse, a 6-2, 200-pound dual threat prospect from Saint James, LA (Saint James HS) gave his verbal commit to Auburn back in July but announced his decommitment via Twitter on Tuesday. Per NOLA.com:
quote:

"After praying and talking with my family I've decided to decommit from Auburn. I think I rushed and made a premature decision. I still plan to communicate and nurture a relationship with them. But at this time I will open my recruitment back up. My main goal now is to continue to get my health better and be a leader and role model to my team."

Another dual threat quarterback for a pro-style offense? It has worked so well so far.

Two years ahead of time is way too early to commit to anybody.

Dual threat you say? sound perfect for Les Miles to turn into a pocket passer pro style offense QB

He's way too close to his mother - no way does he leave the state

Good athlete but I don't think QB is his long-term position. He is way too inconsistent a passer and hasn't displayed very good field vision.

Please, no more "dual threat" QB's. The Deshaun Watson's and Cam Newton's of the world are very few and far between.

The one game I saw him play he appeared raw as a SEC QB prospect...but quite the athlete

Hopefully recruits don't judge the team and university by how counterproductive some of the LSU "fans" sound over social media.

If you want to be a role model, you can start by following through on committments........
