LSU coach Matt McMahon spoke to the media on Monday shortly after it was reported that the basketball program would receive increased NIL resources moving forward.

McMahon was asked about the report and what it means for the program:
quote:

"I have always been incredibly appreciative of the support that I have received here, McMahon said. "It's an absolute honor and privilege to coach at a place like LSU, which has had tradition, history, and star power over the years in all sports."

"We are going to continue to fight every day and keep working to get better. I love the recruiting class we signed during the early period. And we all know the importance of the transfer portal as you look at college athletics here in 2025."
