This guy is a master recruiter! Getting guys to commit over Kentucky and Duke among others, plus the talented transfers he’s bringing in. I can’t remember more influx of top level talent since Shaq, CJ, and Stanley Roberts back in the late 80’s! I think Alleva may have struck gold with this hire!

Wasn't it Eddie Nunez or whatever his name is who was behind this hire? I don't think Alleva could make such a great hire on his own.

I wonder if all the legal trouble for these big programs are making kids think twice about going there for fear of incoming sanctions...

I think the master recruiter is Javonte Smart. Alot of those guys he played with and against in summer league ball wants to play with him and start something new and worth watching. Will Wade is on his shite tho.

Why would anyone suggest that Wade's recruiting was somehow tainted? He's a great guy - and LSU is lucky to have him as coach.

I think everyone is just a little nervous about things right now. Remember, we’v suffered through Trent Johnson and JJ. I think we all are just not used to getting the elite players that Coach Wade is getting. But he is young and really does seem to relate to the players. Let’s breathe it in and enjoy the ride!

Spend just 5 minutes talking to Coach Wade and you'll understand what is drawing these players. The guy is legit.

What if the other schools are under the spotlight too much to use their old dirty recruiting tactics? Some people just want to be the first to say I told you so even when there's no story and nothing to base it off of. He is nothing like Hugh Freeze imo. HF always came off as over the top Holier than though. Wade does not. He's just this ordinary person who's young and might actually relate to the players.
