The latest edition of Slam Magazine was released on Tuesday and has former LSU star Ben Simmons striking the same pose as Lebron James from the 2003 cover.

Is Simmons going to be the next Lebron?

Look at the difference in their frames. Lebron's shoulders are probably 30% wider than Ben's and he was built like a grown arse man at 18. Ben will be a fine NBA player and he has a great skill set but it's definitely not like he's some once in a lifetime physical freak like Lebron, the comparison is so stupid IMO

Ben may have talent but no way he should even be mentioned in the same sentence with Lebron.

that's freakin' awesome .... can he make must free throws in the last few minutes of a game to seal a win? NOPE.... oh and BTW - every starter on my daughter's high school team can...

It's going to be embarrassing to see all of these LSU fans cling to his nuts when he's an all star in a few years.

He MAY be an all star in a few years, but if he doesn't increase his "want to" he'll never be a GREAT.

Your judging him off one year where he was forced to play an amateur sport. Get over it. Don't blame him for the NCAA's shitty league and rules.

I don't understand why people hating on Ben. He only played college ball because the NBA required him to. Be happy we got him for a year. He helped in the recruitment of not only the basketball team, but the football team as well. You all knew he was only gonna play college ball for a year when he signed. Now y'all pissed when it happens. Get over it! Do ya thang Ben. Get your money and fame. You don't owe any of these fair-weather fan a thing!

I have no issue with him being one and done. I have issue with him not giving it his all while he was here.

I don't think LSU fans are questioning his talent or ability. Instead we're questioning his desire, his effort, his "want to". That's what separates the great ones from the rest of the NBA. We keep hearing about his "greatness"; however, when the effort doesn't match his talent level it pisses people off because they see what he's wasting. Maybe he was bored in college.
