LSU right-handed pitcher Christian Little will return to LSU after he was drafted by the New York Mets this week.

Little, a junior from St. Louis, Mo., played two years at Vanderbilt before transferring to LSU for the 2023 season and worked as a weekend starter and a reliever for the Tigers.

The Mets selected Little 576th overall in the 19th round of the MLB Draft this week.

To be the Court Jester? Cause if Johnson & Johnson couldn't make it work, what's the point?

Good news is he can't be much worse than he was this year.

He was so terrible this past season. Surely he can go back to another school?

If the King "Pitching Guru" Wes Johnson couldn't do anything with him, what's Yeskie supposed to do?

He started well last season, had to be frustrating to fall out of the rotation, but never heard a negative word about him. He obviously loves LSU and I think he will surprise next season and be a valuable commodity to the pitching staff. He never gave up and neither should the fans!

LSU has the most knowledgeable and loyal fans in college baseball, here’s wishing Little the best, hoping he can hone his skills and harness all that talent to further his career development and help our Tigers to Omaha, once again! Wishing him the best…. Geaux Tigers/Little!! ??????

Little can 'right the ship' just like Cooper, Hurd, and Floyd did. True, he fell off the rails but he does have the skill set to be a legit contributor next year.......Hang On!

This guy is horrible: the Mets must have been trying to play a prank by drafting someone who can’t throw a strike

I remember a lot of people writing off Thatcher Hurd too and look what happened. This guy could be a huge difference maker if he develops some control

Coach JJ saw potential in him as did the Commodores coaching staff….there must be something to that. At tournament time you need all the arms you can get. I’m glad he will remain a Tiger.

Good to see him comeback. I hope all of you crapping on him enjoy your crow this time next year when we are singing his praises for helping to win another CWS.

This. He seemed like a great team player, and kept his chin up even after Jay took him out of the rotation. This is the type of player JJ strives to have to build team chemistry. I hope he C. little lives up to his potential next year

Let's Geaux Little! He got drafted because he has potential. Yeskie and him need to get to work so he can have a great season next year.
