Jay Johnson and the LSU coaching staff landed a big commitment out of the transfer portal on Thursday, with North Dakota State left-handed pitcher Danny Lachenmayer pledging to the Tigers.
Lachenmayer, a native of Eagan, Minn., logged 38.0 IP with 56 strikeouts and a 2.37 ERA as a freshman in 2025.
Lachenmayer visited Arkansas last week, but chose the Tigers over the Razorbacks.
