re: If roles were reversed, does anyone think OM would have loaned us their OC for a CFP run?

Also gives OC access to players face to face to discuss future beyond CFP.

Many of the top teams were absent from Omaha this year with so many upsets in the regionals and supers.
There were 4 top regional seeded teams that made Omaha: Arkansas (3), LSU (6), Oregon St. (8), and Co. Carolina (13).
Winning that 1st game against Arkansas was HUGE and gave us a big advantage over them going forward. Even if they win the rematch game, I don’t think they had enough pitching left to win the 3rd.
The rain out made things a little interesting from a pitching standpoint but some great performances from Shores, Evan’s, Cowan, and co plus the Arkansas 9th inning collapse in game two set LSU up for a dominate performance in the championship series.
Even looking back at the regionals and super regionals it couldn’t have played out better of a path for LSU.
Regardless, the players had to show up and take advantage of the opportunity and they did up and down the line up.
Everyone contributed and had a moment. It’s was a great and fun year for LSU baseball.

SR. 2B Seth Darder, who transferred from Kansas State during super regionals would be my guess to have inside track to replace DD.
re: Sure hope the ladies will get past UCLA.
