ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum is all fired up in the wake of the Coach Cal vs. Mark Stoops feud at Kentucky and thinks the Wildcats could do better...

“It is the biggest story in the SEC right now because it came out of left field and it came at a time where we should’ve been celebrating Kentucky basketball. They had the stage to themselves, four days in the Bahamas and Calipari blew it. Quite frankly, I don’t know where he goes to get it back. Just listening to our audience, and we have a lot of Kentucky fans that call in, they’re very mixed on him right now," Finebaum said on Monday.

“I mean are you guys telling me you can’t find a coach better than John Calipari right now? Billy Donovan? I’m just throwing a name out there. A young coach who is up-and-coming? Take your pick. John Calipari is really no longer the best option for the University of Kentucky.”

Cal has a .763 record at UK and a .783 record overall. If you think they can do better than that then by all means... tell them to pull the trigger.

This is the dumbest story ever. Cal is a dweeb but are we acting like Kentucky isn't a basketball school? If Stoops really took offense to that he's a clown too.

Kentucky could probably do better than Cal though, he kind of underachieves honestly.

Cal has pissed off a lot of Kentucky fans over the past several years but this is not a firing offense. If UK were to fire Cal for this how many coaches would want to work in that environment? Do we get another Bill Clyde? UT fired Fat Phil and it has taken years for them to get back if they are back. Nebraska football same thing. Let the season play out and see what happens. Stoops is loved by UK fans and if nothing else this has been shown.

Paul better be okay if he is replaced the next time he makes a mistake and says something dumb, which will probably within the next few days
