Honestly, after sleeping on it, I think their presser will involve them announcing a lawsuit against the CFP and ESPN/FOX, or more than likely, it'll just be a routine event.
Doesn't matter. Any P2 runner-up should be in the CFP.
That has been debunked multiple times. He left over the contract differences between us and Florida, because the BoT placed several limits on what the AD could offer this go around (mainly in relation to the guaranteed portions of the buyout, etc.). Additionally, while his wife wanted to go to Auburn, most people believe Sumrall's first choice was always Florida.
It means that, until Saban stepped in, he was blackballed by the SEC for his actions at Tennessee (which has been known for some time). At that point in time, his career was effectively over, and he was considered to be persona non grata. You have to remember: This is an extremely small circle, so your reputation and actions can easily follow you everywhere.
Using this list (and not including whomever Kentucky hires):

1. Jon Sumrall - The fans hate the hire, so if he struggles, he won't survive beyond the next AD being hired (or 2-4 seasons). If anything, he'll be the first one to hit the ejection seat for greener pastures
2. Lane Kiffin - Has the best circumstances but the shortest leash. It's win or get tarmacked
3. Ryan Silverfield - General apathy from the Arkansas faithful
4. Alex Golesh - Due to the current perception surrounding our program, Auburn can't afford to re-enter the coaching carousel again for some time. However, out of the five hires, I think this one is the best one out of the bunch (excluding Kiffin). The worst case for Golesh is that he'll end up in Arkansas in a few years (like Sumrall will for Kentucky)
5. Pete Golding - Due to the circumstances surrounding his hiring, he'll have a long leash to make improvements

His wife is from Arkansas, is an Arkansas fan, goes to every home game (allegedly), and she flies into and out of Arkansas weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly for work (the article wasn't clear). In other words, it doesn't matter if he's pissed, because the Mrs. is calling the shots on this one.

Give me a break: With his wife's connections to the university and the City of Gainesville, he was always taking the Florida job.
IDK. What's the highest-paid coach in the NFL? Surely, he's in the CFB equivalent of that tier.
Your fifth rule is completely irrelevant.
Don't worry. Bama isn't losing to Auburn.

At this point, Sumrall should be the top choice, but since he wants to get back into coaching, I would be fine with Gruden, too. Toss-in an obligatory kick the tires on Dabo on top of it all.

Why can’t Missou break through???

Because the Big 6 (soon to be the Big 8) runs the conference. When you're going up against half of the Top 15 (and arguably, half of the Top 25) best programs in the sport on an annual basis, you're not 'breaking' through as a program.

Or did they turn the corner at Arkansas?

I think we're giving him until the end of the year to 'prove it,' but all in all, he's cooked (and to be frank, thankfully). The guy has coached his last program at the power level, and I think Auburn will allow him to gracefully resign over health concerns stemming from his cancer diagnosis earlier in the year.

However, I would seriously consider Brohm as well. Brohm would be high on my list if LSU stunned us and fired BK.

Brohm ain't leaving Louisville any more than Key is leaving GA Tech, etc.

Don't care. Everything associated with the current regime needs to be flushed.
Ole Miss until his children transition into adulthood. Afterwards, I would argue that Florida would come back into play for his ex-wife's (rumored to be back together) ties to the university through her father. Auburn blew its chance, and LSU and SC aren't in play. Honestly, if he stays on his current trajectory, he could become Ole Miss's greatest coach, and more than likely, have the field named after him, etc.
Okay... and? If you watch his documentary on ESPN, it's clear that he's not leaving Ole Miss until his children are completely out of the house and by extension, Oxford.

That's not the case in the slightest.
No, off of the top of my head: Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, and Arkansas all got who they wanted (or needed). All in all, the selections for each team aren't that bad.
Injured? No. He's a relatively inexperienced starter at the collegiate level who, due to the pressure, has a case of the yips.
