Georgia track signee, Matthew Boling, clocked the fastest 100-meter time in high school history on Saturday, however...
quote:

Unfortunately, Boling’s time won’t officially count in the record books because it was wind-aided, per MileSplit.coms Cory Mull. Boling ran with a wind reading of 4.2 meters/second, which makes it “outside the legal requirements.” Per the website, the time converts to 10.16 seconds.
Check him out...

Wind or not that's fast.

The wind was at 4.2 meters per second, so it didn’t qualify as a new record. But, he’s definitely the fastest kid in the country from an observational standpoint.
